One recommendation is to make a compress with a cabbage leaf by removing the outer leaves and rolling them flat with a rolling pin before placing the leaves directly onto the affected area and wrapping them in place using gauze. Leaves should be left on for 1 hour and the compress can be done with new leaves 3 - 4 times daily. Leaves can also be made hot or cold using the microwave or refrigerator.

Burdock Root Tea

Suggested preparation is to add 1 teaspoon of burdock root into 1 cup water and bring to a boil, then lower heat and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes before allowing removing it from the heat. It is recommended to drink this tea 3 times per day to fight inflammation and improve circulation.

Suggested dosing instructions are to take 500 mg capsules of evening primrose oil three times a day. NOT safe to take while pregnant!
