It is suggested to apply castor oil to affected areas of skin each morning and night until red and/or flaking patches heal.
Baking Soda

Baking Soda

The general recommendation is to mix half a tea spoon of baking soda with half a cup of water. Apply the solution to the affected skin for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse off with cool water.
Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea Tree Essential Oil

Suggested use is to add several drops of tea tree oil to 2 or 3 tablespoons of a carrier oil and apply to scalp for an hour before shampooing off in a shower.
Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar

Recommended treatment is to apply ACV diluted with water onto scalp after shampooing in the shower. Leave on for several minutes before thoroughly rinsing out.
