Recommended use is to extract the gel from the inside of an aloe vera leaf and rub the gel over the infected eyelid. Leave it on for 20 minutes, and then wash the infected eye area with lukewarm water 2 - 3 times daily for five days.

Common directions are to steep green tea tea bags, let them cool and use them as compresses onto eyes. Tea bags can also be cooled in refrigerator to lessen inflammation.
Coriander Seeds

Coriander Seeds

Suggested preparation is add one teaspoon of coriander seeds to one cup of water and bring it to a boil. Then remove from heat and allow the water to cool. Strain and use infused water to wash the affected eye two to three times per day.
