I was initially skeptical, but it does seem to have an effect. I take about a teaspoon in a cup of hot tea before bed (tastes not so great) and I do seem to have less trouble going back to sleep if I wake up in the night for any reason. I also have a bit of a harder time getting out of bed in the morning but nothing horrible.
